This head is sold as an unassembled bare casting. It is finished machined and hand ported. Also includes valve guides and valve seats installed. This head does NOT include studs, valves, springs retainers or locks.

14°/4° Intake & 10°/2° Exhaust Valve Angles
The Brodix canted valve is in a league of its own and is still one of the best flowing small block heads available. This head has valve angles of 14° and 4° on the intake and 10° and 2° on the exhaust. The canted valve cylinder head is best used with racing gas. The intake may easily flow over 400 cfm with the exhaust port flowing in the 250 cfm range when completely ported. An extremely high intake port and a tall, radiused intake short side are just a few of the features of this state-of-the-art cylinder head. This head has special valve centerlines and requires special components. This head is a spread port design and features a stahl exhaust bolt pattern. It also uses a symmetrical intake port design requiring a special intake manifold. Every casting is poured from A-356 virgin aluminum and tested before Brodix utilizes their in-house processes such as finish machining and heat treating to assure that you receive the best products for your hard-earned money. Other features include a thick deck surface that is compatible with nitrous, drilled and tapped holes on the ends for standard drive accessories, phosphorous bronze valve guides and interlocking valve seats.
