This Competition open chassis wet sump is for 1985 and earlier Small Block Chevy. It is designed for a chassis without a crossmember under the engine (asphalt and dirt modifieds, sprint cars, and some late models). It provides maximum ground clearance at only 6-1/2" deep but has an 8-quart system capacity because of its "L" design. Sump measures 11-1/2" wide, 16" long, 6-1/2" deep.
