Installation Instructions:

Universal Transmission Mount For Chevrolet Turbo 700R type overdrive transmission for 1937-1939 Chevy Car.

Use Chassis Engineering Transmission Cushion Set SS-0114

Step 1. Install the transmission crossmember on your Chevy frame. Measure from the inside of the frame at the rivet for the running board brace to get the 3/4 in. measurement.

Step 2. Clamp the transmission mount in place, then locate and drill the holes. Note, the mount goes towards the front.

Step 3. Bolt the support rods to the back of the crossmember, bolt support-rods to the crossmember first.

Step 4. Swing the support rods to the side of the frame. Center the support rod mounting pads under the frame rail and clamp them in place. Now drill the holes and bolt them to the bottom of the frame.
