Sway bars are an excellent way to improve the handling and overall drivability of early cars and trucks. Eliminates road sway. For best results use front and rear bars together. Linkage and mounting hardware furnished. 45-1/2 in.€ eye eye bar fits many stock width Pinto-Mustang Independent Front Suspension kits and swaps that are widened 2 in. from stock

If you are using non-Chassis Engineering full lower A-arms (no strut rods), please include part AU-0010PMA (link) with your order of your Pinto Mustang Swaybar for no additional cost. We will substitute weld-on sway bar mounting tabs in place of the regular Pinto Mustang mounting brackets.

Note: Directions below assume use of a Pinto or Mustang-based cross member. If you have something different, then make appropriate modifications if needed.

1: Clamp sway bar and mounts to the frame in position shown below. Move the sway bar through its arc. Check for interference.

2: Bolt lower linkage mount to lower control arm assembly. Use original strut rod bolts. Offset in lower mount should point inward.

3: Move bar thru its arc. Check for interference again. Assemble linkage.
