Chassis Engineering SB-0050R Features:

SB-0050R Universal Rear Sway Bar (Extra Wide). Extra wide rear sway bar for late pick-ups and larger cars, for use with parallel leaf rear suspension, 48-1/2 in. eye-eye.

Determine location of mounting bracket or cross member on vehicle frame. This may already exist or might need to be fabricated.

Drill hole on mount to 3/8 in.

Hold frame brackets in place and mark second hole.

Be sure to check range of motion, suspension or exhaust may interfere with bar operation.

Drill second hole (3/8 in.)

Place €œD€-shape rubber bushing on bar. Line up with the mounting holes and install frame brackets over bushing.

Bolt thru brackets and frame.

If you are using CE rear end parts, the lower shock plate will have bottom swaybar mount as a standard feature. On non-CE shock plates, a 5/8 in. hole must be located at proper distance on such brackets.

Assemble linkage as shown. Do not overtighten.
