This GM Performance Parts Big Block Chevy Valve Retainer and Spring Kit contains 16 steel valve spring retainers and seals for 1991 and later Gen V & Gen VI big-block engines. New seal design improves oil economy. Replaces earlystyle retainer with integral oil shield. Valve guide bosses require minor machining with high-lift camshaft.

Technical Note: Kit includes 16 retainers P/N 12550421 and seals P/N 12550422.
