A precisely calibrated engine control module is essential to making your fuel-injected LT engine perform in your older vehicle - and Chevrolet Performance is your source for controllers that are designed for easy, "plug-and-play" installation and, in most applications, no need for third party tuning adjustments.
Unlike production controllers that may or may not come with a used engine, our controllers are calibrated for installation in older vehicles. That means many of the features required for late-model production vehicles are "turned off," because they're not required in older cars and trucks. That means features that may trigger a diagnostic trouble code and possibly affect performance - requiring additional tuning - are not enabled. Chevrolet Performance inclusive kits deliver all the components required to plug into the engine and get it running - from the controller itself and the accompanying wire harness to the mass airflow sensor, oxygen sensors and even a throttle pedal assembly for engines equipped with an electronic throttle body. The kits also include detailed instructions to help you do it right the first time, even if you have no experience.
Kit Includes:
- Two oxygen sensors
- Two oxygen sensor mounting bosses (for installation in the exhaust system)
- A mass airflow meter
- A mass airflow meter mounting boss (for installation in the air intake system)
- A throttle pedal assembly (for use with the electronically operated throttle)
- A specific oil pressure sensor that is compatible with the harness (when needed)
- A complete wiring harness with fuse box and necessary cam sensor and MAP sensor jumpers

Introduced in the 2014 Corvette Stingray, the 6.2L LT1 V-8 opened the next chapter in the long, historic legacy of the Small-Block engine. It is architecturally similar to the LS family of Small-Block engines, but with a unique block casting, cylinder head design, oiling system and more.

It also combines advanced technologies including direct injection, Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation) and continuously variable valve timing to support an advanced combustion system. In fact, more than 10 million hours of computational analysis were conducted on the engine program, including 6 million hours (CPU time) dedicated to the advanced combustion system. The result is more power with greater efficiency than any previous Small-Block engine! Chevrolet Performance's new LT1 crate engine - offered with a wet-sump or dry-sump oiling system - is rated at either 455 or 460 horsepower and 455 lb-ft 465 lb-ft of torque respectively. A controller specially designed for retrofit applications is available. Using the specified controller retains the operation of all the advanced technology features.There are also all-new transmission installation kits specially designed to match the new LT1 and its 8-bolt crankshaft flange with Chevrolet Performance's 4L60-series four-speed automatic transmissions and the T-56 Super Magnum six-speed manual.
