Proven Stroker Power, Now with Multi-Port Fuel Injection
Chevrolet Performance SP383 EFI Engine is an assembled, ready-to-run 383 stroker with the convenience of a multi-port fuel injection (MPFI) system. Starting with a new, non-remanufactured cast-iron block, the SP383 features a high-performance roller camshaft and lightweight CNC-machined aluminum "Fast-Burn" cylinder heads utilizing aluminum roller rocker arms. The engine also utilizes a throttle body port-style fuel injection system that is bolted to a traditional-style carburated intake manifold. This allows for a top-mounted air cleaner for a classic engine appearance. The vintage look, combined with modern performance and drivability, make the SP383 is a perfect drop-in engine for any classic resto-mod project that originally used a 265-400 ci small block Chevrolet V8 engine.
