The control arm kit features boxed sheet metal arms that are welded, and powder coated semi-gloss black. Pre-installed maintenance free ball joints and pivot bushings are included. The Cognito Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit: Pitman and Idler arms have been an inherent wear problem within the steering systems of Chevy and GMC trucks and SUVs for decades. The Cognito PISK (Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit) replace the problem components that plague factory and aftermarket steering systems on several models and years of GM trucks and SUVs.The Elka 2.5 shocks feature Dual Speed Compression adjustment and provide better attenuation of vibration, leading to major noise reduction in the cabin (much less squeak and rattle), damping characteristics optimized for each truck and setup, providing a smoother ride.
