Developed to work with many GM and FORD late model lock-up transmissions, the 294 allows 2600 to 4000 rpm stall speeds higher than stock while retaining the benefits of a mechanical lock-up converter. Because these transmissions typically offer lower initial gear ratios, plus an overdrive gear for lower highway rpm and better fuel economy, the Xtreme Energy TM 295 will improve their performance. It also improves low and mid-range power and can deliver lower elapsed times. On average, it will multiply torque by 2.5 to 1.
