A 392 that has already been opened up with ported heads or a stroker crank runs into the factory camshaft as its ceiling. This Stage 3 HRT package adds midrange torque and keeps building past 7,000 rpm, and because it ships with the phaser limiter and the valvetrain hardware sized for the grind, the variable valve timing system stays under control instead of being the weak point.
