For racing and street performance applications, each Crane Cams HEI Kit has a new high-output HEI replacement module with built-in 20° start retard. Each conversion kit also includes a new distributor cap, rotor, coil cover, and matching in-cap Crane Coil. By matching coil specifications to the module, Crane delivers more accurate timing and dwell control for higher spark energy at racing RPM.

The HEI/CD Ignition Conversion Kit allows you to convert the standard HEI module/coil combo to a high-output Digital CD Ignition while retaining the stock-look cap.
