*Note: Crane's long travel hydraulic roller lifters p/n 270-16535-16, must be used with greater than .570' lift camshafts to prevent alignment bar disengagement.
**Note: The 1996-2000 Gen VI engines can use these camshafts and components if they are converted to adjustable rocker arms by installing p/n 270-99152-16 rocker arm studs (no machining required) and factory pushrod guideplates, providing open valve spring pressures do not exceed 480 pounds.
***Note Camshaft incorporates an integral cast iron distributor drive gear, aluminum-bronze distributor drive gear not required.
ROUGH IDLE, PERFORMANCE USAGE, GOOD MID AND UPPER RPM TORQUE AND HP, MILD BRACKET RACING, AUTO TRANS W/ 3000+ CONVERTER, MARINE PERF., 3400-3800 CRUISE RPM, 10.0 TO 11.5 COMPRESSION RATIO ADVISED.
