Crower Rod Bearings are manufactured from high quality materials for withstanding the extreme loads of professionally tuned racing engines. They feature high strength trimetal copper-lead material in the load area for superior strength and embedding. Lead overplate provides excellent fatigue strength and superior conformability to compensate for distortion and/ or misalignment. Bearing-to-bearing size consistency enables you to "build-in" the exact oil clearance you require, while narrowed and chamfered versions are available for large fillet journals where additional clearance is necessary. Crower uses premium aluminum-bronze one piece billet bushings in all of the rods they manufacture.
