Chevy offered two heaters for the 1955-1956 model years, standard and deluxe heaters. Standard heaters use an on/off switch that's positioned under the dash. While deluxe heaters had levers mounted in the dash for controlling the blower and heat.
Seal up your heater box with new premium reproduction seals from Danchuk. Over time rubber seals can deteriorate causing warm air to leak outside instead of delivering heat to the interior when heat is needed.
