Delphi Multipoint Flexible Injectors (MFIs), or "spider" injectors, were developed by Delphi engineers to help improve fuel delivery and reduce evaporative emissions in GM's popular light-duty trucks and sport-utility vehicles. They were also developed to eliminate clogging of the poppet nozzles on the sequential central port injector (SCPI) due to contaminants in today's fuels, which means poppet nozzles don't need to be cleaned or replaced because of gasoline deposits. Compact and lightweight, which reduces overall vehicle weight for increased fuel economy, our MFIs are engineered to be compatible with most fuels. Quiet operation means no audible noise when the engine is running, and thermal insulation means less heat penetrates the fuel system for better cold starts. - A 100 percent OE product

Delphi Fuel Injectors are built to stringent OE requirements that offer identical factory fit for easy installation. They deliver an accurate, tightly controlled fuel spray pattern that allows for more efficient vaporization. Delphi Fuel Injectors feature internal seal rings protected from fuel exposure for longer life and improved sealing materials to provide cold sealing to -40°C for better cold starts. Plus, injectors are manufactured using components and seals that aren't sensitive to different fuel or fuel blends, including ethanol mixtures. Delphi Fuel Injectors also provide optimal performance thanks to extra fuel filtering protection to eliminate contaminants.
