DEI Floor and Tunnel Shield II insulation will provide the best protection in problematic high-temperature areas and can be used on aluminum, metal, carbon fiber, plastic, and more to reflect damaging heat. Capable of withstanding up to 1,750 degrees of direct continuous heat, this peel-and-stick insulation limits heat transfer on firewalls, transmission tunnels, floorboards, fuel cells, and other areas where heat is an issue. The insulation consists of an embossed 10 mm aluminum face bonded to a 1/8 in. composite glass-fiber core with a super-strong, pressure-sensitive backing that can be shaped and trimmed for a custom fit—making it ideal for minimal clearance areas.
