Fitment, Compatibility and Applications
When installing these lug nuts on your wheels, make sure that the threads on the wheel studs are clean and not damaged in any way, and always remember to start lug nuts by hand to prevent cross-threading. To prevent galling and corrosion, anti-seize compound is included with all lug nuts. When fully torqued, the threads should protrude a minimum of ⅛” out of the lug nut.
All lug nuts are designed for 85 lb-ft of torque, with the exception of ⅝” size which calls for 100 lb-ft. Never over-torque your lug nuts, as this can lead to an unsafe situation. Aluminum lug nuts are designed for competition only and are not suitable for street use. To ensure proper torque and a secure fit, washers are recommended with these lug nuts.
