DSS FX-Series premium aircraft-quality 2618 alloy pistons are forged and machined to perfection with internal gussets that provide added strength to withstand the demands of today's high-performance naturally aspirated, nitrous, or boosted engines. CNC milling removes non-critical material, resulting in a lighter weight and ideal balance of power, strength, and longevity. The DSS FX-Series piston patented X-Groove skirt design reduces damage caused by fuel washdown and break-in debris for superior skirt, cylinder, and ring life. This advanced skirt design is ideal in stroker engines and will improve piston stability and ring seal, resulting in quieter operation.
