External balance - includes a street dampner and 153 tooth Automatic transmission flexplate. If you require the same kit with a 168 tooth flexplate, order part number - 356-B13005L04068. If you require a Manual transmission flywheel or different dampner, the factory GM 400 small block external balanced dampner and the factory 1-piece rear main seal external balance flexplate or flywheel can be used or new components will need to be purchased separately. From the factory 1-piece rear main seal small block Chevy 305, 350, LT1 and Vortec engines are balanced internally in the front and externally in the rear. When building these engines with an internal or external balance Eagle rotating assembly the balance is changed. This kit cannot be used for the 1992-97 LT1 engines due to the fact that a suitable external balance dampner/harmonic balancer does not exist for these engines.
