From the factory 1-piece rear main seal small block Chevy 350, LT1 and Vortec engines are balanced internally in the front and externally in the rear. When building these engines with an Eagle rotating assembly the balance is changed to internal front and internal rear. Automatic transmission applications use the included 153 tooth internal balance flexplate. Manual transmission applications will require an aftermarket internal/nuetral balance flywheel assembly (not included).

- Assembly part numbers that begin with “B” are balanced by Eagle and require no additional balancing. Part numbers that do not begin with “B” are unbalanced assemblies and must be balanced by a qualified machine shop before use.
- Internally balanced assemblies do not include flexplate or dampener.
- Externally balanced assemblies will include a 153 tooth Pioneer flexplate for 1pc seal applications or a 168 tooth Pioneer flexplate for 2pc seal applications and a harmonic dampener.
- Internal Front/External Rear Assemblies include a 153 tooth Pioneer flexplate.
