Each wheel is made from selected white cotton material with continuous sewing and 3/8 in. spacing. The face is half an inch thick with 40-ply construction for extra sturdiness. Face is 1/2 in. 40 ply Use with Tripoli or Stainless Compound Use our spiral sewn buffing wheel for half-inch motor arbors with Tripoli or stainless compound as needed. The Tripoli buff compound makes it a step 1 wheel for soft metals such as brass and copper while stainless compound is good for an intermediate wheel on hard metals and chrome.
