Since founder Vic Edelbrock Sr. began building performance intake manifolds in 1938, Edelbrock has grown into one of the most trusted names in American high-performance parts, from carburetors and intake manifolds to cylinder heads, crate engines, and EFI systems. JEGS has spent decades supplying Edelbrock components to racers, engine builders, and street enthusiasts, backing this extensive lineup with in-house technical support, fast shipping, and a Price Match Guarantee so you can choose proven Edelbrock parts with confidence.
Stop searching through junkyards and swap meets for the now-scarce factory 4-bolt main engine blocks. Edelbrock's Small Block Chevy Cast Iron Engine Blocks are a direct replacement, with some upgrades, compared to GM's original blocks. No special cylinder heads, intake manifold or oil pans required! Edelbrock blocks use all the factory spec engine components and accessories. Designed for applications up to 700 hp, The basic foundation includes nodular iron main caps with splayed 4-bolt design, main priority oiling, mechanical fuel pump boss, and clutch linkage boss. Edelbrock uses this block to build their very own Big Block Chevy crate engines. Edelbrock Engine Blocks are an ideal base to build horsepower for both street and bracket racing.
