The best standard port location cylinder head available for B/B Chevys, the Victor 24° features a rolled over deck, altered valve locations for a cost effective performance. Starting with an A356 aluminum casting - heat treated to T6 spec, this casting HIP processed for extreme durability. These are the castings that are used by Race Flow Development, offering some of the best conventional port, big-block Chevy race heads available on the market.
The Gen II Pro-Port castings feature a thicker deck, additional casting material in the intake runners roof and the push rod holes are deleted.

These unported versions of race-winning Edelbrock Victor Series CNC heads are designed specifically forthe professional cylinder head porter and engine builder. Like all other Edelbrock Cylinder heads, Pro-Portcylinder heads are also cast in the USA at the state-of-the-art Edelbrock Foundry with extra-thick walls toallow for custom CNC porting. In most cases, seats and manganese-bronze valve guides are included, butnot installed. Please note: These heads can not be used without professional head preparation.

HIP Process HIGH-TECH PROCESS DELIVERSSTRONGER CASTINGS
Heads are available with a technique called Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP). This aerospace process takes rawcastings up to 900° F in a pressurized chamber (up to 30,000 psi) and compresses the casting. The results: anincredibly strong, super dense sand casting that has three times the fatigue life and nearly the consistencyof billet aluminum.
