All HotCoat Powders are exclusively formulated for the HotCoat System. They are optimized to promote static charge for uniform coverage and finish. All are UV and fuel resistant.Chrome Smoke is a hybrid Epoxy/Polyester blend with a bonded metallic additive to assure a uniform finish. Cures at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes after flow-out (that transition from dry powder to a liquid look) occurs. Produces a smooth 80-90% high gloss finish. Must be top coated with any clear or translucent for improved durability, UV and chemical resistance as well as increased gloss and depth

Powder coated surfaces are great because they are far more resistant to scratches, chipping, fading and wear than most other finishes. You will also find the color selection is virtually unlimited and most being UV resistant, colors stay bright and vibrant for much longer. Texture selections range from smooth surfaces to a wrinkled or matte finish.
