Eastwood's DeKote Paint and Powder Coat Stripper contains no Methylene Chloride and will safely and effectively remove urethane, epoxy and powder coatings. DeKote will not harm steel, aluminum, die cast, pot metal, fiberglass or SMC panels. The longer dwell time of 30 minutes to 3 hours, means it does not work as fast as Methylene Chloride based strippers, but it provides time for DeKote to penetrate multiple coats and deeper. It is very easy to apply by either immersing or brushing on the surface.
