The camber is the tilt of the tire in or out of the fender. An eccentric cam controls the alignment and is positioned under the rear end. Unfortunately, when the alignment goes out in the rear, it generally is due to the cam slipping. When the cam slips, both camber and toe are affected. The tire begins to wear on the inside edge plus the car may begin to drift.

Global West builds replacement strut rods and a lock out plates that replace the eccentric and the strut rod. The plates index in the rear end bracket and lock the strut rod into location. The strut rod adjusts like a turnbuckle setting the camber.

The advantages of using Global West adjustable strut rods are: more available camber adjustment and no chance of slipping.

Note: Global West uses high quality rod ends in their kits. These units are PTFE lined, so they will not make noise.

    Rear Adjustable Upper Control Arms
Our tubular rear lower control arms are made out of two inch DOM tubing and are tig welded. They provide superior strength over boxed or square arms. Installing these arms will help in many different driving conditions, including controlling lateral movement, reducing wheel hop, increased corner exit, straight line stability and more. They can be used for street, drag race, road race and autocross applications. Spherical aircraft bearings on the frame side and a Del-A-Lum bushing on the rear end side. Good for street, road race and drag strip. This lower control arm design performs flawlessly. The maintenance is low and the bushings are quiet. The rear end is stable especially around corners. The arm allows the rear end to pivot without bind due to the bearing being installed on the frame side. Del-A-Lum bushings provide lateral control. This feature will make the car track straighter during a drag launch plus increased lateral cornering ability is achieved. The Del-A-Lum bushings have a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.
