The LS7 engine oil dipstick is located in the remote oil tank, therefore the boss in the block that is typically used for the dipstick is not drilled, creating a unique situation when converting to a wet sump oil pan. This easy-to-use guide helps locate the drill bit during the drilling process, allowing for easy alignment. Made from billet steel, and featuring an innovative drill chip slot for vacuuming during the drilling process, makes this specialty tool a great addition to any engine builder's toolbox.
Note: Jig is designed to accept a 3/8 in. drill bit.
Oil Pans That Ease the Pain of LS Engine Swaps
GM Gen III & IV LS engine oil pans don't always fit older chassis, are too low for a hot rod, and do not provide enough ground clearance for 4WDs. Holley's Retrofit Engine Oil Pans provide maximum chassis and ground clearance.
