The 3-Port Boost Control Solenoid works with the boost control function built into Holley HP and Dominator EFI, letting the ECU regulate boost directly through a pulse-width-modulated output.
Holley 557-200 Details:
- Driven directly from a PWM output on a Holley HP or Dominator ECU.
- Includes one solenoid and an ECU pigtail harness with a factory-crimped pin.
- Includes three 3/16 in. barb fittings, one 1/8 in. NPT plug, and a sintered brass muffler.
- Includes a spare ECU pin for modified harness lengths.
- This universal solenoid can be used with a Holley bracket . The solenoid is used to increase idle speed when the engine is under load at an idle (typically when the air conditioning is on). A dashpot is used to prevent engine stalling on sudden deceleration on manual transmission equipped vehicles. The universal brackets are designed for use with all Holley carburetors that have the universal throttle lever and two threaded bracket mounting holes machined in the throttle body to mount the dashpot or solenoid.
