The common 2292 style aftermarket mount is thin, and under load it flexes or tears. This is a heavy duty clamshell housing that cages the insert between an upper and lower half, so the load path is through steel rather than through a single stamped bracket. Note it is the housing only and you need two of them plus inserts.
