Howards Cams Pro Max Forged Pistons for Chevy Engines are high strength pistons for the ultimate in engine performance. These forged pistons are CNC machined from low-silicone 2618 bar stock aluminum and then heat treated and aged to a T61 condition. This material provides these forged pistons with the strength to stand up to the most extreme stress incurred in racing engines. This material also provides the ability for the piston to keep its shape under extreme pressure.
