Late-model GM trucks built on the E90 ECM and T93 TCM platform lock the factory computers against standard in-vehicle reprogramming, which normally means removing the module to access it externally. The HP Tuners ECM-00-E90-K kit avoids that step, using a dedicated upgrade box and HPTNet cables to modify the E90 ECM and/or T93 TCM in place so it can accept new calibrations through VCM Editor without removal, reprogramming, or a relearn procedure.

HP Tuners ECM-00-E90-K Installation Notes:

• Upgrades the GM E90 ECM and/or T93 TCM without removing either module from the vehicle.
• Eliminates the risk of damaged tabs or connectors that can occur during ECM/TCM removal and reinstallation.
• Requires no reprogramming, relearn procedures, or a Replace ECM function after the upgrade.
• Supports E90 ECM applications on 2019-2022 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 with the 5.3L or 6.2L V8, plus T93 TCM applications on additional 8-speed and 10-speed GM platforms.

• HPTNet cable for the GM E90 ECM.
• HPTNet cable for the GM T93 TCM.

An MPVI3 interface with its supplied USB A-to-C cable and the latest VCM Suite BETA software are required to complete the upgrade and are not included in this kit; MPVI, MPVI2, and MPVI2+ devices are not compatible. Each upgraded E90 ECM requires 6 Universal Credits and each upgraded T93 TCM requires 4 Universal Credits, purchased separately before tuning.
