Heavy-duty RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks from 2018 with the 6.4L Hemi V8 use a factory PCM that resists direct reprogramming, and the PCM-0R-214AA is HP Tuners' answer to that restriction. The physical module is modified before shipping to remove the factory write-protection, giving tuners the same calibration access in VCM Editor that they would have on an unlocked platform.
