With the turbocharger sitting high up in the engine bay, heat was a concern when developing this intake kit. The specially designed heat shield is sealed to the hood of the vehicle to prevent radiant heat from entering the engine while allowing the sound of the turbocharged V6 engine to be heard under heavy throttle. This intake kit features durable HPS silicone couplers and stainless steel T-bolt clamps that are engineered to perform under toughest driving conditions.
