This ratchet shifter adds a park and reverse lockout trigger to a forward-exit cable design so every shift lands one gear at a time.

Hurst took the classic V-Matic 2 features and updated the internals on the V-Matic 3 for better overall functionality. Hurst retained the great 4-speed look and versatile installation while increasing the performance in the V-Matic 3.

Features:

Dual mode of operations.
Operation in the standard in-line gate mode: From the park position, pull up on the reverse Loc/Out handle. Pull back into reverse, push down and simply pull back into neutral or desired gear.

Operation in the ratchet mode: From the park position, pull up on the reverse Loc/Out handle and move into reverse. Push down and pull back to neutral. Push down in neutral and ratchet into gear.
Highly polished shifter lever and brushed aluminum Hurst T-handle (3/8-16 thread).
Trigger operated reverse Loc/Out approved by NHRA/IHRA.
Incorporates a neutral safety and back-up light switch assembly.
Progressively illuminated gear position indicator.
Complete with all hardware, heavy-duty 5' long shifter cable, and easy to follow installation guide.
Attractive black textured console with chrome-plated top cover can be trimmed to fit any floor contour.
