The lower shaft of the column matches the spline of the original universal joint. The wiring exits the tube of the column below the dash making it nearly invisible. The top shaft of these columns are the same as 1969 or newer GM passenger car. Installation in early model G9, G14, G16 and G19 Yamaha carts requires modification of the original steering box.
