This boss is normally welded into the intake tube on naturally aspirated engines or between the compressor and intake manifold on supercharged & turbocharged engines. Designed to fit 3" to 4" diameter tubes. CNC Machined from Billet 6061-T6 Aluminum, and is much easier to weld than similar looking parts made from cast aluminum.
