Note: Can be installed in early & late-model transmissions, but requires a 1997-up stamped steel forward piston.

JEGS Input Drum Reinforcement Kit prevents cracks on the input drum on GM 4L60, 4L60-E, 4L65-E, and 4L70-E Transmissions. This kit includes a hardened chrome-moly steel reinforcement sleeve, re-worked OE overrun piston, overrun piston inner & outer seal, and forward piston inner & outer seal. The hardened steel sleeve reinforces the input drum to prevent cracks & failures. No special machining is required to use this part.
