The JEGS 555-70447 Floor Shift Tilt Keyed Steering Column is a universal-fit, 32 in. floor-shift column designed for street rods, hot rods, and custom vehicle builds. The 2 in. diameter tube features a 5-position tilt mechanism and a 1 in. double-D output shaft for connection to a steering shaft or U-joint. The GM-style 4.250 in. wiring plug accommodates GM wiring hookups and the column accepts any 1969-1994 GM steering wheel, or an aftermarket adapter can be used for other steering wheel patterns. A 9-hole GM steering wheel adapter is included. Note: column length is measured from the top of the bell to the end of the output shaft. The adapter adds 2.250 in. and is not included in the stated column length. Fabrication of mounting brackets, wiring harness connections, and steering shaft will be required for installation.
