JEGS Reflective Gold Heat Shield is a highly effective material for firewalls, fuel cells, engine covers, under hoods, engine compartments, bulk heads and any other areas that needs protection from heat. This heat shield is laminated glass cloth with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing. The glass cloth is composed of metalized polyamide polymer rated at continuous temperatures of 850° F and reflecting 80% of radiant heat. The high temperature adhesive is protected by a release liner rated to 325° F. Lightweight, basically zero clearance needed, and simple to trim to size.
