JEGS 555-79025 Hydraulic Car Lift Ramp System Venting Procedure:
Air trapped inside the hydraulic system can reduce lifting performance and cause uneven operation. To restore proper function, the system may need to be vented.
- Begin by opening the exhaust valve, then slowly turn the pressure relief valve counterclockwise while repeatedly operating the foot pedal to circulate fluid and release trapped air.
- Once complete, securely tighten both the pressure relief valve and exhaust valve.
- If lifting performance does not fully return, repeat the process until normal operation is achieved.
