Bed Wheelhouse for 1999-2007 Chevrolet & GMC Fullsize Fleetside Trucks [Left/Driver, Right/Passenger Sides]
Rusted-out bed wheelhouses are one of the most common problem areas on high-mileage GM pickups, and once that metal is gone there is nothing solid left for the bedside and bed floor to tie into. This stamped steel bed wheelhouse restores that structure on 1999-2007 Chevrolet and GMC fullsize fleetside trucks, giving you a correctly shaped weld-in panel to replace a corroded or damaged factory unit instead of sourcing a complete bed. It is the wheelhouse that is visible from inside the bed, so it is built to stock width and contour to keep the wheel opening and bedside lining up the way they did from the factory.
JEGS 555-96691 Bed Wheelhouse Features:
- Direct weld-in replacement for the rear bed wheelhouse on 1999-2007 Chevrolet and GMC fullsize pickups
- Fits 5.5 ft., 6.5 ft., and 8 ft. fleetside beds; not for use on Stepside models
- Same panel works on either the left/driver or right/passenger side of the bed
- Stamped from 18-gauge steel for the strength and weldability of the original panel
- Built to stock width and factory contours for correct alignment with the bedside and bed floor
- EDP (Electro-Deposit Primer) coating helps protect the bare panel from surface rust before final prep and paint
JEGS 555-96691 Bed Wheelhouse Notes:
- Panel size: 36 in. x 12 in. x 7 in.
- Material: 18-gauge stamped steel
- Finish: EDP coated
- Sold individually; welding and finish paint required for installation

Special Note: Before packaging by our team of professionals, each in-stock sheet metal panel sold and shipped by JEGS goes through a thorough inspection for flaws. It is not uncommon for sheet metal panels to have surface scratches, small dings, or other minor imperfections. These imperfections are not considered damage and will be worked out through the bodywork phase with various levels of sanding and priming. The EDP coating on each panel is used as a protectant during shipping and storage and is not intended to be a finish coat. Proper prepping and priming are required during the bodywork process to protect the metal surface.
