JOES Cast Wide 5 Accelerator Hubs were designed from the ground up using the latest in CAD design and the ultimate in casting technology. Stress Analysis software allowed the JOES team to simulate race conditions during the design phase. The result is the perfect balance between light weight and strength. Destructive and on track testing allowed our engineers to centralize the mass closer to the spindle and rear axle spud center lines reducing rotational inertia for quick acceleration and faster braking. JOES Wide 5 Cast Hubs can be installed with conventional grease or low friction wet gear oil. The Exclusive JOES Seal Retainer System allows you to slide in and re-use expensive seals with out damage to the seal. The rotor flange can be bolted solidly to the rotor or T-Nuts can be added at anytime for a superior floating rotor set up. Just add a JOES T-Nut Kit and gain more horsepower by eliminating pad friction and reducing heat transfer to your high dollar shock package. JOES Cast Hubs use state of the art foundry manufacturing processes that feed tool steel molds with Highly Refined Rotary Degassed Flux Injected aluminum creating a rigid and lightweight part. In house CNC manufacturing and quality control systems ensure that your hubs run true. Centralizing the hub mass creates a path for air to flow out of your hood compartment increasing down force while providing air flow to cool brake components and shocks for long lasting performance. JOES Cast Wide 5 Hubs take hub manufacturing to the highest level. The bare hub is ultra strong and weighs only 7.5 lbs before races and studs are added installed. Note: Kit comes complete with races, bearings, rotor flange, seals, JOES Spindle Nut and studs. You add the JOES dust cover or drive flange to complete your assembly. T-Nut Kits are sold separately and can be added to the rotor flange provided at any time.
JOES Wide 5 Hubs feature a seal retainer ring system which lets you slide in seals for easy maintenance and lower maintenance costs. Hubs can be operated as oil-filled with low-friction bearings or use standard wheel bearings and bearing grease. Wide 5 Hub Kits include races, bearings, rotor flange, seals, spindle nut, and wheel studs. Just add the appropriate dust cover or drive flange to complete the assembly.
