Kits use KBS's unique 3 Step System to effectively clean, remove and seal rust or corrosion.
Step 1 The first step is to remove all grime, oil, wax or other contaminants using AquaKlean.
Step 2 RustBlast is a rust removing primer that removes and neutralizes rust and leaves a gently etched, zinc phosphate base coating.
Step 3 The final and third step is to coat the rust-free prepared surface with RustSeal. RustSeal encapsulates rust & corrosion by penetrating into the pores and galvanizing itself to create a completely sealed surface that blocks moisture, air and water vapor. This extremely tough and flexible coating is resistant to abrasion, impact and abrasive chemicals such as acids and petroleum products. RustSeal has moderate UV stability and can be used on applications up to 500F-degrees. Self-leveling coating can be brushed, rolled or sprayed on.
