This is a spare or replacement fitting for quick transmission changes. This fitting allows you to use your Lokar Anchor-Tight Dipstick on multiple transmissions easily by simply plugging your dipstick housing into this "spare" fitting after a trans swap for a secure leak-free connection. You can also keep your tranny sealed up while in storage or transport by snapping the storage plug (that is included with the purchase of an Anchor-Tight Flexible Locking Transmission Dipstick) into this fitting to keep your fluid in your trans on not on the floor. So if you have multiple transmissions in your shop or trailer. This simple idea can save install time and clean-up time by keeping the fluid in the case.
