Low Range Off-Road manufactures these cages in Utah from DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) Steel. DOM is tubing used to make roll cages, buggy chassis and drag racing chassis. It is drawn across a mandrel to be precisely the size it needs to be. This process also pressurizes the steel which acts like a forging process for tubing, meaning it is more difficult to crush and unlikely to break or bend.
