- Lunati Signature Series Crankshafts are made from a specialized non-twist 4340 forged steel construction and proven to withstand applications well over 1500 horsepower making them the strongest crankshaft available. They are the best choice for racing with many design features such as gun drilled mains, lightened rod journals, micropolished journals and a windage reducing contoured wing counterweight profile. To increase strength and durability, each Signature Series crankshaft is pulsed plasma nitride heat treated.Note: All Lunati crankshafts MUST use narrow or chamfered main & rod bearings.
