Earplug Headphones – SAFE and SOUND!

The Plugfones Volume Limiting Earplug Headphones are designed specifically for working in loud environments where hearing protection is recommended or required as part of your personal protective equipment. These ANSI tested earbud earplugs offer a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 25 dB, offering OSHA and EPA certified protection for your ears from harmful noise.

The Contractor VL has Volume Limiting Technology that keeps the volume level of the Plugfones speakers at or below 82 dB per OSHA max volume guidelines. This means the unit has resistors in the jack which don’t allow the unit to play at the full volume of your device to protect your hearing in particular environments. If you do not need this extra level of protection, we recommend purchasing Plugfones Earplug Headphones for full volume control.

The earbud tip allows you to interchange between the included silicone or foam earplugs based on your comfort preference. You can also purchase the replacement earplugs in your choice of five colors. This allows for a replacement of the same color earplugs your Plugfones came with or adding a touch of personalization with different color earplugs.
