McGard 70002 Features:
McGard black nylon plug for use with McGard Racing style lug nuts. For street use, the plug can be left in place. For the strip or pro street cars, unscrew the plug to allow the use of extra long NHRA approved studs.
McGard Racing Lug Nuts are lightweight yet strong (proof load tested to 160,000 psi). Each is machined from high-quality steel, and then hardened and tempered for durability. Triple-coated with nickel chrome, these nuts are guaranteed for life not to chip, peel, or rust. Sets include polished stainless steel washers.
Notes:
- For street use, the black nylon allen plug can be left in place.
- For strip or Pro Street, remove plug to fit extra long NHRA-approved studs.

Regular .746" Shank Lug Nuts are for use with custom replacement cast or forged aluminum wheels that are between 11/16" and 7/8" thick at the stud hole. Sets contain polished stainless steel washers.
Long .946" Shank Lug Nuts are for use with custom replacement cast or forged aluminum wheels that are at least 7/8" thick, but less than 1-1/4" thick at the stud hole. Sets contain polished stainless steel washers.
Long 1.000" Shank-Duplex Lug Nuts have larger outside dimensions than our standard lugs. This is necessary in some truck & van applications. As a general rule, 8 lug wheels require duplex lugs. Sets contain polished stainless steel washers.
Extra Long 1.365" Shank Lug Nuts are for use with custom replacement cast or forged aluminum wheels that are at least 1-1/4" thick, but less than 1-5/8" thick at the stud hole. Sets contain polished stainless steel washers.
