A stock pump cover can flex under sustained rpm and give up the tight gear clearance that pressure depends on. This pump uses a doweled housing and cover, billet helical gears and a chromoly intermediate shaft to hold that clearance, and it upgrades the older M-55 and M-55A pumps directly.
